Sports guards

Custom vacuform sports guards are fabricated here in our office. Our patients are simply scheduled for a short appointment to have impressions taken and the guard is usually ready within a week.

Night guards

The dentist will evaluate your temporomandibular joints, the amount of wear on your teeth as well as other signs and symptoms of clenching and/or grinding to determine if you may benefit from the use of a night guard. A night guard is a hard acrylic (plastic) custom made appliance that patients typically wear at night to prevent pain and/or damage to the teeth and/or joints. If a night guard is recommended, a short appointment is scheduled to take impressions of your teeth and a registration of your bite. Once it is fabricated by a dental laboratory, the dentist will insert the night guard, make any necessary adjustments and explain how to maintain your appliance.
